I'll Be Fundraising Tonight - Won't You Please Help?

Howdy!

KUVO -- my radio home -- is in the midst of its annual Spring Membership Drive. I've been asked to come in and help with the festivities, so I'll be on the air tonight, Tuesday, May 19 -- not doing my usual music show, but acting as a "pledge buddy" on the regular host's program.

The only way community radio stays on the air is through the support of the people who listen and care enough to pony up a bit. If you'd be so inclined, I'd be extremely grateful.

Rockin' AND Rhythm

I'll be sittin' in on Rockin' 'n' Rhythm this Friday night.

This is one of my favorite shows to do. I get to stretch it out and go well beyond the usual jazz, so it's a nice change o' pace. Also feels a little bit like doing freeform, which is where I cut my radio teeth.

I haven't done this slot for two and a half years, which is a tad hard for me to believe. It should be fun. I hope you can join me!

Drive-Time Radio: A Collision of Passions

When I got the call on Monday to fill in on Drive Time Jazz, I took a gamble that the World Series would be history by air time. No such luck.

This will be the first time I've covered this coveted slot, so I'm pretty excited about it. I'll be able to follow the game online for the last half hour of my shift, and with some creative logistics, be able to see the end of the game. Feels kind of funny to almost be hoping for another rain delay.
